The 2033Agenda has 12 challenges, one of them is the Care for Creation, so, on March 2, we attended an online meeting convened by the platform Together for Europe in order to deepen our understanding of this challenge.

There were two sessions in this meeting, one in the morning at 09:30 am and one in the afternoon until 6:00 pm.

During this meeting, a lot of work was done on the encyclical encyclical Laudato Si, and the importance of caring for Creation, and as part of creation, caring for human beings.

Several initiatives were presented that are working on this, such as: Laudato Si movement (which already collaborates with the Agenda 2033), Gruenerfisch, Faithinvest… among others; also strategies and dynamics were shared in this area such as: Renewable energy communities in which families, educational institutions, parishes and religious entities collaborate.

The next steps Agenda 2033 should take will be to contact these initiatives and encourage them to work each one from their charism and role in the Church in this vision of 2033.
