From September 25 to 27, the European Continental Service of Communion gathered in Zembrzyce, Poland, to elect a new Continental Team and foster greater unity among communities, prayer groups, and other charismatic entities. Around 50 national coordinators, community representatives, youth leaders, and observers assembled at the Totus Tuus retreat house with the shared proclamation, “We are completely yours, Lord!”

Throughout the event, a local music team wonderfully united the participants in prayer, setting a joyful and spiritually rich atmosphere. On Friday evening, the auxiliary bishop of Krakow, Mgr. Robert Chrząszcz presided over a Eucharistic Celebration, offering his support and blessings.

Discussions focused on how communities and youth representatives could better serve CHARIS. Representatives shared how the Lord had been working in their lives, emphasizing the significance of prayer groups, community engagement, and the need to accompany young people on their journey to Christian maturity.

Elections were held to complete the European Service of Communion with community and youth representatives. The following individuals were elected to serve on the European Coordination Team for the next four years:

  • Enrico Berardo (Switzerland)
  • Priyanka Choudhary (Czech Republic)
  • Teresa Lally (Scotland)
  • Lordan Ljubenko (Croatia)
  • Fr. Jozef Mihok (Slovakia)
  • Antoni Tompolski (Poland)
  • Zoltan Vegh (Hungary)

From the international level, Cathy Brenti (France and Executive Secretary of CHARIS) and Tony Laureys (Belgium) will accompany and support this team in its mission to serve CHARIS Europe.
